	Chris is a 1988 graduate of the University of Buffalo. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration/Accounting/Finance. Prior to starting CLM Accounting & Tax Service, Inc., Chris was an auditor for the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance. It was through this position that Chris recognized a need for quality accounting services for small businesses. He also was a tax accountant for a Fortune 500 company for several years. Chris is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS and a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals.
Cathy L. Marvin, EA
Cathy is a 1987 Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Buffalo. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration/Accounting. Prior to serving clients of CLM Accounting & Tax Service, Inc., Cathy was an auditor for a CPA firm, an auditor and financial analyst for 2 health-related companies, and a controller of a small hospital. Cathy is also an Enrolled Agent with the IRS.

An Enrolled Agent is an individual who works for tax payers, preparing their tax returns, planning their taxes, solving their tax problems and representing them in audit before the Internal Revenue Service. To become an Enrolled Agent, an individual must pass a very comprehensive 2-day examination administered by the IRS and devoted entirely to income taxes. An Enrolled Agent is required to have more tax related continuing education than any other tax preparer. An Enrolled Agent may be more qualified than any other professionals who do not hold this prestigious designation.
